Designed to handle heavy-duty antenna installations. We put a 5/8" hole in our aluminum mirror brackets to accommodate our DM-4A Dome Mount. The DM-164A has a horizontal gripping groove in the clamp and L-bracket. This mount is made specifically for horizontal mirror arms, luggage racks or rails on boats or motor homes.
