The Galaxy DX48T is one of Galaxy’s newer radios. This is the newest version of the DX48T with blue meter lights and channel display, it is also pre-wired for the FC390 frequency counters. This is Galaxy's first radio to AM/FM radio to feature a built in linear amplifier. The radio will dead key 50 watts and produce over 200 watts PEP when tuned correctly. Features include dual echo controls, Variable Talk Back (A must to prevent that dreaded talkback squeal), Variable power, Glow in the dark face plate (Makes operating at night a breeze), large s-meter (looks sharp and is easy to read.) This radio was built for professional drivers that work in areas with a lot of operators.
